Management don't reply to customers
Don't let residents know about water shut off and any maintenance issues and have no one answer phone calls on office or maintenance over the weekend

Worst nightmare Ever!
Don't touch the fire unless you want to be burned. I read the terrible reviews about this place online, and I was warned, but I didn't listen. I even flew from Chicago where I'm from, and did a walk through. This place is like living in a 3Rd world country! Garbage overflows, and it's the first thing you see when you come in, very unsightly. When I first moved in I had to sleep in the middle of my living room floor, because the place was infested with bugs, roaches. I cried so hard, like what... have I gotten myself into. I had to sleep in my car. Karen was the manager then, and they had an exterminaterror come out, and I went to home Depot to get some bug remover I researched online, and they reimbursemed the money I paid for in my rent price. The microwave was filthy, So Karen replaced that as well, and honestly that was the best gesture I received from this place. Shortly after Karen left, I'm sure she figured out what a dump this place was, and couldn't manage anymore. The workers are untrained and unskilled. They have the same person who picks up trash, fix your ac, toliet, and what ever else is broken. That's like have my doctor, do my makeup, laughable at best. Management is the worst, very unprofessional, they are worse than children. Your concerns are not their issue. Period. They have a dismissive attitude, they take no ownership or accountability for their actions or the workers mistakes. My toliet over flowed and made a huge disaster, the water fell on the neighbors head below me, and this was after the workers came in to fix the issue. My air conditioner has been broken over 10 times, and the thermostat has been replaced 3 times, all in the course of a year. As soon as my lease is up, I'm running. Also Greenspoint flooded so badly this year, cars submerged in water, avoid this area at all cost. Yes the rent is a little less expensive, but there's a reason why, it's a headache, it's like pulling teeth, it's a fight you're not going to win. I have never had any issues with my neighbors, however guys hangout in the parking lot on occasion, which doesn't bother me, but they drink beer and leave beer cans every where like tree bushes and other odd places. And the kids run around with no shoes on, and that bothers me a lot. They walk in trash with no shoes on. This place over all gets worst by the day. This has been my experience, although I realize everyone will have their own.

i didnt like it
I used to live here and I moved it was not a good place to live they were small and nothing really fit the people never come to fix things and the always charged me fees all they want is money they were really bad .

Unfair changes
My family of 3 and I lived at Amherst for 4 years. We loved the apartments and the location is awesome the people are friendly and it's close to everything. Management was great and things if broken get fixed in a timely manner. When we moved in we saw all kinds of dogs being walked by their owners and no problems at all. Me and my family decide to get a dog because my daughter wanted one. All of a sudden a new owner comes in decides to change everything and your dog can't be over 30 lbs. Why... couldn't they tell us this when we moved in. I paid $1000 dollars for my dog and I paid the $300 deposit they wanted me to pay for having a dog. Now they're telling me all of a sudden I have to either get rid of my dog or move out. How unfair is that of course I'm not getting rid of my dog. If you decide to move here just be sure to read the fine print and ask if they're planning on making changes before you sign anything.

Gem in the valley
These apartments are a nice little gem in the middle of a busy area. There is a strong family environment and neighbors are friendly. The staff is personable and follow-up on any work orders. There is a wide variety of stores within walking distance and ample metro service.
