Mishalei and Bella were incredibly helpful. The complex has excellent security—you need a fob to access the parking, elevators, building, dog wash stations, and amenities. It’s also conveniently located near the UT Health campus, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Inside looks brand new and luxury.

This place has a new property management company; it went from MEB to Bryten Properties . Let me tell you, the people they sent to work in the office with the original team are GREEDY. I not only called but also wanted to ensure that I ended my lease correctly. The only problem was that we did not know the closing date of our new place, and closing dates change all the time. It happens.

So, I called the office to ask the best way to give my 60 days’ notice. I told them I wasn’t sure of the... closing date, that it could be late or early, and that I didn’t want to pay for two places at once. This is where they outright lied and conned me. I was told to NOT give notice until I was absolutely sure when I was going to leave because “If your closing falls through and you have already given notice, we have the right to rent your property out.” So, we didn’t give notice.

Once our closing date was locked in, I was told to email an inbox. I emailed the generic email and received a reply from the assistant manager advising me that I hadn’t given notice. I forwarded the notice I had sent (to the wrong email, which the office had given me) and was told that not only was I “in violation” of the lease, but now I was on the hook for rent for 10 days after my lease ended. Of course, the rent was $20 more, and they acted like they did me a “favor” by “pro-rating it” at $600 for 10 days of the month. I emailed back, calling them out on this.

Your car will be broken into, I’ve spoke to 6 other residents who have said they have had theft of their car or their car broken into. Last night I saw a woman throwing bricks at a car. They will lie and say there is cameras. I knew they were lying so I got it recorded and will be following up for negligent security.

They changed major services we relied on 4 days after we renewed and wouldn’t let us cancel our renewal 3 months out. Their valet living services included pet care by people we know and regularly chat with and their replacement was rover.com. Among other things. Carpets are always filthy. Dog poop everywhere in the bark parks even though we have to DNA test pets to live here. Pretty on the surface but that’s it.

If you're looking for luxury apartments then maybe try somewhere else because this place is all but luxurious. Let me start off by saying this complex was opened in October 2018 and I moved in December 2018. Unfortunately, since living here (17 months) the mgmt has changed 4 times (usually without notice) and office staff has completely changed. Other than the Valet Living personel the office is all new staff, and most of which are not very friendly or helpful. There are numerous issues here.... For starters the building was not built on leveled ground nor constructed properly and as a result there is a slope in my apartment and across the complex. Additionally, my breaker trips a number of time when using my washing machine. The water pressure varies, some days there’s good pressure but often it has low pressure. This might also contribute to the numerous toilet backups I have in my apartment, as well as have noticed in the common bathrooms (on the ground level by pool and level 1 outside the gym). During quarantine, nearly all amenities were closed to residents but you still had to pay for it while office staff uses it (I snapped a picture of one using the coffee machine in the lounge...closed to residents). I’ve asked management twice for the owners information to express my frustration but management denied my request. The office staff has definitely locked themselves up and their lack of hospitality can be felt across the complex. When I’ve reach out to management I typically get back excuses, ignorance, or rudeness. I’ve pretty much been called a liar by the current management. When I first moved in residents could openly post on our community wall, however within the last few months management has changed this to have manager approval. This apartment’s management is censoring what information the residence can post onto the community wall so wanted to post here for our neighbors to read....and potential residence (wish I could give more of a review but limited on characters, just DO NOT LIVE HERE!).
