Management does not care.

I moved into this apartment complex in March mainly because they advertised functioning EV chargers—an essential amenity for me as I commute 1.5 hours each way to work and rely on a fully charged electric vehicle. However, the chargers have been broken the entire time I’ve lived here, and management has confirmed they were broken for many months prior to my move-in as well, which they lied about when I toured.

I have visited the leasing office at least 10 times in person over the past several...
months asking for updates or repairs. The best response I’ve received is “I don’t know” — with no timeline provided. Management refuses to notify residents about the ongoing issues and keeps this information hidden while continuing to advertise the amenity.

While this issue currently only affects residents with electric vehicles, it highlights management’s dismissive attitude towards resident concerns and maintenance of their property in general. The lack of functioning EV chargers causes significant inconvenience and cost to those affected, and it undermines a key reason many of us chose to live here.

I hope management takes responsibility and fixes this promptly or offers meaningful restitution for this extended outage. Transparency and reliable amenities should be a basic expectation for all residents.
