I have enjoyed the location of the building and community the most. It was the primary reason I chose to rent here. However, multiple factors are influencing my dissatisfaction. Community management has gone downhill, including but not limited to: 1) foundation issues leading to the building twisting and becoming unstable 2) Shoddy workmanship leading to degradation of the floor (there is a space by my front door that is basically a spongy hole that is unstable and unsafe, maintenance refused to... resolve) vanity (the vanity in the bathroom is being ripped apart by the instability of the building), etc. 3) Clear refusal to maintain promises and communication from management as evidenced by me having to follow up regarding a lease extension, management refusing to deliver pastries when I signed up and then followed up at the office the day of (this really hurt my feelings and made it clear I am unwelcome here), 4) Refusing to allow me to use the hotel trolley in the office to transport items when I directly asked, but allowing other residents to use it, 5) allowing other residents to post items for sale to the community boards but not posting my requests. I am kind to all staff at all times, do not cause any issues, pay my rent, and communicate in writing as quickly as possible, but I clearly am unwelcome here anyway. I shared that my partner and I are looking for a 2br option and nobody offered to show us any 2brs or even offer an option, while the building is clearly empty. All of this is very sad, because I adore the location, and just wish I could have a nicer apartment staff, not falling over themselves, but at least being kind and not making me feel excluded.

Do you want to live in daily fear that you will go to the parking garage and find your vehicle vandalized or on bricks with all 4 wheels stolen? Well, I have a great suggestion for you, come move to Encore Grayson! They not only have non-existent cameras and doors with magnetic locks that a child could break into, they also have irresponsible pet owners who let their animals defecate and urinate in the elevators and carpeted hallways! Did you notice a funky odor while on a tour and say, " That's... probably an anomaly." Well, guess what, it's not. You too could enjoy that every day!
Do you enjoy scary movies with strobing lights? You're in luck. Every single stairwell has at least 1 fixture that is constantly flickering. You can have your own scary movie experience every day!! Adding to the scary movie experience, trash will remain in the stairwells unmoved for months. And, if you're extra lucky, you will find discarded items that were stolen from someone else's or your own vehicle in the stairwells. It's like a daily treasure hunt! Lucky you!!!

Hi there, We’re really sorry to hear about your experience and truly appreciate you taking the time to share this. We understand how frustrating and concerning these situations can be.
Please know we are actively working on several of the items you... mentioned. For the stairwell lighting, we’ve been coordinating with the manufacturer for replacement driver parts. These are coming from overseas, which has caused delays, but we have confirmed they are in route and we’re hoping to have everything repaired as soon as possible. We’ve also recently had the carpets professionally cleaned and continue to address cleanliness concerns daily. While we do fine residents for pet-related violations, we always encourage reporting in real time when possible so we can quickly identify and address the issue. Regarding garage concerns, we are continuing to work with our partners to improve monitoring and overall security. We truly want every resident to feel comfortable and proud of where they live, and we would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly and make this right.

It’s a great place to live but they have a lot of attitude in the leasing office. Still respectful for the most part and helpful. Pretty place to live

Great experience with property staff. They are helpful and flexible to accommodate move-in process as much as possible.Overall great location and property including amenities is in excellent condition.
