Great Location!
We recently moved my mom from River Oaks to be closer with her family. She was a resident for over 14 years and absolutely loved it! The marsh and wildlife were amazing. It’s located near grocery stores, bank, gas, and restaurants. Leslie and staff were always helpful to any issue she had and we had no issues with moving out or security deposit.

Absolutely amazing apartments
My wife and I moved into River Oaks in December and we have nothing but good things to say about the apartment. Everyone here is super nice. We look forward to many years living here.

This is a Wonderful Location and Building
I found this apartment for my dad in 2023 and he loves it, and has made many new friends. I especially love that they have Bingo Nights and Community Dinners!
It allows Adults (55+) and is nestled along the peaceful Bark River and adjacent to a nature conservancy, River Oaks offers a beautifully landscaped and tranquil environment—perfect for enjoying both serenity and scenic views.
Perfectly Priced & Conveniently Located
With rents often below Hartland's usual rates—River Oaks delivers... excellent value for its comfort and features!

Great place to call home
We love living at River Oaks. We lived here in the past and loved the building, the apartment and the people, but bought a place in Texas and moved out of River Oaks. We very much regretted leaving and came back to Hartland and, Leslie, the manager, was so good about accommodating us and worked on getting us another apartment. We were delighted when we moved in. It was all redone new and clean and beautiful. I read the negative review on this site and totally disagree! The people here are... wonderful, staff is great and everyone gets their deposit back unless they have caused considerable damage. Please don't believe the negative comment.

Too bad there's no zero star option
This building is full of two faced, gossip spreaders.
Do not plan on getting your security deposit back when you leave no matter how spotless you keep it.
There is vengeance in the managements heart. Paperwork that took 20 minute was prolonged 4 months and then they charge $100 more for all those months.
Glad to be gone.
