Rent increases while quality decreases.
I lived here for 4 years and watched the rent increase by nearly $100 annually, yet the management fails to address major living quality issues.
Management & Policy: The "no dog" policy is a total lie; there are dozens of dogs on site and half of them are not trained. Management is also unresponsive to noise complaints as some children as less trained than half the dogs on site. Despite providing video evidence of neighbors with zero self-awareness and respect, nothing was ever done. Every unit... pays the same fixed water bill, meaning the family of 5 below you pays the same monthly water bill as a single person.
HVAC & Pests: The wall units are essentially holes in the wall. Expect freezing drafts in the winter and a massive influx of stink bugs in the fall. The bedroom unit is over 50db (good luck sleeping with it on).
Mail & Gym: The gym is the size of a large walk in closet and is always full, plus the equipment is often broken. The mail situation is a nightmare; packages end up in various locations through out the complex and you often have to dig through piles of other people's mail to find yours.
Move Out: They are extremely inflexible with lease lengths and have expensive fees to break, which makes the transition to homeownership difficult. I was charged a hefty cleaning fee after being ghosted when I offered to come back and touch up the unit because it didn’t meet their subjective requirements.
The "Good": Maintenance is timely, parking is ample, and the grounds are well-kept. However, it doesn’t outweigh the lack of respect for long term tenants.
