Summerwell Peoria Place

Just moved into my new townhome and I’m pretty sure I accidentally upgraded to main character energy.
The lighting? Immaculate. Everything feels so clean, light, and airy like I can finally exhale the second I walk in. And the light wood floors?? Actually gorgeous. I catch myself staring at them like I personally installed them.
The kitchen deserves its own moment because I love to cook, and this one? She understood the assignment. The space, the layout, the whole vibe.
10/10 layout , I’ve... rearranged the furniture in my head at least 14 times and somehow it always works. Also, the amount of storage for the size of this home is kind of unreal… like where was this energy in every other place I’ve lived?
The stairs still give just enough drama to make me feel like I’m making an entrance, even if I’m just going to grab a cup of coffee.
Anyway, if anyone needs me, I’ll be here romanticizing my life, organizing things I don’t need to organize, and already planning where my future Christmas tree will go.

The staff here is exceptional, they are so kind and accommodating. They answer the office phone every time you call, are quick to respond to emails, and are very professional. Ty and Mayra are both great assets to this property. My tour was very easy, I was able to schedule a self guided tour and within minutes was viewing all of the floor plans I needed to see. Once I moved in, I had a small maintenance request and they were extremely responsive and quick to fix my issue, and the maintenance... staff (the 2 men I’ve encountered) are incredibly kind as well. Living here has been so nice, it’s quiet, well kept, has a kind staff, and the quality of the interior is great. Homes and the community are so so nice and clean. Definitely recommend anyone, the ladies in the office are so nice and helpful

The office staff is great! Location is great, No complaints.

We have lived here for 3 months and here’s our overview:

Pros: detached homes and attached garages, sidewalks to walk the entire complex, attached mini yards for pets.

Cons: the homes are very overpriced with very cheap interior (cabinets, counters, blinds etc.) which is not ideal given it’s a rental and should last a long time, valet trash is not ideal (there’s service days with rules like a regular neighborhood but the cans provided are small 12 gal cans). There’s a smart home bundle and... it’s an added monthly charge and comes with internet. Wirestar (internet provider) is the worst internet I’ve ever experienced but management ‘can’t do anything about it’. The street lights are constantly flickering and shut off at randoms times all night. Neighbors kind of seem like they don’t care about anything and are very loud and rowdy (which has been noticed all over the complex). There’s no security which means people race through the complex all day and night, and stay at the pool until 12am whenever they want to. It also creates more of a risk for theft especially during fall and winter. Also, there’s no yard coverings so when it’s 115° outside (6 mo out of the year) there’s no covering for your pet to go outside and pee.

Management doesn’t really seem to care once you’ve already moved in and live here. I rarely get responses to emails and like others I work and can’t be in the office every time I need help with something. Only 1 person in the office is helpful but obviously she’s not there every day.

Overall it may just be better to rent a home for a cheaper price with a few less headaches. Read More
