My son, Charlie and I have lived at The Current since February 2025. And although it has not been long, the experience has been amazing.
Dennise, Raelle, and the entire team: Maintenance, Security (Jose) and even the cleaning team have been top tier. The location, space, and amenities are great as well. The gym is good size and has all the equipment for a solid workout.- the only comment would be to add TVs in the line of sight of the bikes, treads and stair masters.
The events that the... management team coordinates and/or hosts are creative and fun.
Maintenance is very responsive with work orders completed within a few days - unless an emergency.
The lobby is ALWAYS clean and presented well for guests.
We renewed our lease in March and hope to stay for a few more years.

The Current is such an amazing place to live. The amenities, maintenance team, security and management staff are all fantastic. You are also right across the street from the beach! A lot of great places around you that are walking distance as well. I have been here over a year and have enjoyed every minute of it.

My experience with The Current has been amazing. I’ve gone through several major life changes recently, so having a management team that has been genuinely kind, welcoming, and quick to address any concerns made the entire move-in process feel smooth and easy.
I’ve visited places in Long Beach where I felt judged for not “looking the part” or was made to feel as though I didn’t belong. I have never experienced that kind of snobbery at The Current. I’ve felt welcomed and comfortable being myself... from the beginning. The views are incredible, my apartment is stunning, and I’m truly happy to call this place home.
