The Current Apartments

The tour was great and very informative. However, my experience with the communication since the tour has been disappointing. As this is a luxury apartment, I expected a higher level of responsiveness and a more seamless communication process. I hope this feedback can help improve the experience for future guests.

From the initial tour, to the fabulous entertainment and pool area, to the ease of the online application and the support of the staff, my move in was quick, efficient and smooth. The extra bonus was the move in special! MB

I’ve been living in this apartment building for almost a year. Overall, it’s been a decent experience. The units are spacious with a nice layout, and I love the large windows that bring in a lot of natural light. Maintenance requests are usually handled within a couple of days, which is great. However, parking can be a nightmare since there aren’t enough guest spots, and street parking fills up fast. The neighbors are generally quiet, and I haven’t had issues with noise. The building itself is... kept pretty clean, and management sends updates regularly. One downside is that rent increases every year, even though amenities haven’t changed. The laundry room could use some upgrades, but at least the machines work most of the time. Overall, it’s a comfortable place to live, but there’s definitely room for improvement. Read More

Great staff! Move-in was made much easier because of them.

It took me two months to decide on this apartment, and I absolutely love it. Location is perfect. If you insist on a city + nature in one place, there is no better spot. A walk to Alamitos Beach and Marina Green is just two blocks. Also important, common areas are kept very clean, and the community rules and customs translate to the dogs at this property being well behaved.

My feeling from the staff at The Current is that they genuinely want to ease your move-in and everyday life, which is... unique. They are lovely people to have in a building that feels like home. Raelle is the one who helped me find my perfect apartment match, with an incredible beach view and hard flooring throughout. She is attentive to whatever comes up and knows LB well, offering many suggestions for places to go and things to do; she really helps build the community. Read More
