I would recommend Avana if my work orders that I have submitted ever gets done. You seem to care about fixing up the outside (thank you) but inside the apartment, nothing ever seems to get done.

It sucks. Pray nothing ever happens to your apartment or garage because maintenance is unreliable and will ghost you for months before responding or giving updates.

I did a lot of apartment shopping 9 years ago when I moved here. Life changes have resulted in 3 more moves, all within Avana Belmar. No need to shop, this is the best place for me in Lakewood!

In our search for a place, we toured seemingly every complex in Lakewood. The online reviews of Avana raised some red flags going into the tour. We went on a self guided tour, and most of those concerns were lifted. Talking after the tour, the leasing agent informed us the property is under new management, and a lot is being done to address past/present/future concerns. After being here almost a month, it is apparent the staff is working towards improving the community. There is... construction going on, and the staff does a great job relaying information with residents. From reading the reviews, to living here for nearly a month, we are pleasantly surprised with Avana. Like every place, it has some things to work on. What Avana has, that the many other places we visited didn’t, is both amenities and price. Most places in Lakewood we visited had either/or, not both.
