Affordable Downtown Living

The building is full of friendly tenants, and the location is just a 5 minute walk from most of New Haven's main attractions, downtown, and one of the better hospitals in the country. The building itself is a 1920's brick monster with much of the inside still original with strong plaster walls that keep noise down and beautiful clean wood floors. The apartments have been updated in the past 4 years with new tiled kitchen floors, new kitchen cabinets and counters, as well as updated appliances... (Gas stove for cooking). The bathroom is another updated feature with modern accents and subway tiled floors that make it a real city bathroom. Apartments have the old cast iron radiators, which pump plenty of heat in the cold winter, and the gas bill is covered by the building's management. With a small but more than sufficient laundry room in the basement, the building has enough features for anyone to be comfortable. The building is safe, with keyless code entry and various cameras both inside and out. There is a small park across the street which makes having a dog in the city that much easier. Lastly, parking is on either side of the street and I've never had an issue finding a spot. Great building and location in the heart of the Elm city.
