I live tye staff at the front desk. They're lovely, classy, friendly, and so professional. The management is great too! The building is always tidy as well.

I wish I could recommend this building, but my experience has been incredibly disappointing. Since the start of my lease, the water in my apartment has had a persistent foul/bad/rotten eggish smell—whether it’s the shower, sink, kitchen sink, or laundry machine. I first reported this issue 10 weeks ago, and despite multiple follow-ups, the problem remains unresolved.
Management initially told me to run the water for a few hours—didn’t work. Then they said to run it for days—still didn’t work.... Not only is this an incredibly wasteful solution, but it also highlights their complete lack of urgency. Responses take days, and I’ve had to follow up multiple times. Even after CC’ing the regional manager, she has never responded to a single email.
Someone from the management team came to my apartment, smelled the water, and confirmed there was an odor. I’ve also had multiple friends visit and notice the same issue. Yet, nothing has been done to fix it.
They claim the smell is due to the building being “new construction,” but it opened last summer, so that excuse doesn’t hold up. They also told me that as more tenants move in, the smell is “expected,” and if I leave for a few days, I should anticipate the water smelling again when I return.
If you want to deal with water that smells, then this is the place for you. If not, stay away at all costs. TBH not worth the hassle.

The Bals Building is spacious, well-lit, and perfectly located. It features modern amenities, a cozy atmosphere, and excellent views. A great place to call home!

I’d like to thank Marcus and the rest of the wonderful staff for their wonderful work putting together this place as a home! They’ve been helpful in walking me through the leasing process, and making sure I had everything put together for my stay. Much appreciated!
Marcus and his team helped me through the leasing process, which was helpful as it was my first time leasing! I really enjoyed the tour I was given, and so far the amenities have been clean and well organized! I can’t wait to use... them more as the weather clears up!
