Lack of urgency even before moving in.....
I toured MAA Centennial Park back in September while planning a potential move to Atlanta. Fast forward to this month--I got the relocation noticed and had less than 8 weeks to relocate, so I moved forward with leasing here.
Unfortunately, my experience with the leasing office has been extremely frustrating. I was approved on March 3 and submitted my ESA paperwork on March 4. For context, ESA documentation only requires confirmation from a physician--I'm not required to disclose personal... medical details.
As of March 18, I've had to repeatedly follow up with little to no updates from the leasing office. Then, 13 days later, I was told they needed my doctor's email to reach out directly--something that could have been requested upfront with the custom form they requested we fill out.
What's most concerning is the lack of urgency. I applied to three other communities in Atlanta, and all of them processed my ESA paperwork within 48 hours. This delay feels unnecessary and unprofessional.
Given other recent reviews I've seen, this experience is raising red flags. Not exactly the welcoming or efficient process you'd hope for when relocating on a tight timeline. I've expressed urgency with very little movement from the leasing office.
I'll update this review if things improve, but as of now, I'm feeling pretty apprehensive about moving forward here.
