Do not move here fake reviews

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! They are only getting new leases off of the work that Novel Midwest did, the old property management company. Since MAA took over everything here has declined. All of the previous residents are planning to leave and the new residents are slowly figuring out how unorganized and unresponsive this property is. Do not plan to move here if you expect leasing office staff to do anything or for the amenities you pay for to be open. Not to mention the amenities we had in the past… were taken away and never replaced but rent went up as well. Do not recommend living here it’s a constant nuisance. This includes the property manager. Also most of the recent reviews here are not from actual residents!!

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!

Everything has changed since MAA took over. The upkeep of the property has gone out of the window. Amenities have been closed for months and most of the ones residents enjoyed were removed after maa took over and are still actively being removed without replacement or explanation. Leasing staff is rude and unresponsive including the property manager. Fire alarms go off daily to pair with sounds of constant construction. It’s become a nightmare living here and I still see people moving in daily.… Take this as your warning!!!

Decline Since MAA Took Over

I've lived at this property through the transition to MAA management in December, and the difference has been night and day — and not in a good way.

The most glaring issue is the assistant property manager, Devin. His lack of responsiveness is a constant problem. Emails go unanswered. Follow-ups get ignored. If you do manage to get his attention, the interactions themselves are unprofessional — he's been dismissive and inappropriate in how he engages with residents on more than one occasion.… When the person responsible for day-to-day resident relations clearly has no investment in the role, it shows across the entire property.

And it does show. Since the acquisition, there's been a noticeable drop in the overall attention to detail and resident experience that made this community worth the price point. It feels like management is coasting, and Devin is the most visible example of that.

I'd encourage prospective residents to ask hard questions about responsiveness and management quality before signing a lease. And I'd encourage MAA leadership to take a serious look at the on-site team here — because the current situation is driving good residents toward the door.

We have had a great time utilizing the smoker on site. Our apartment is great. Only down side is the walking trail that was promised at the beginning of our lease is now shut down. But we now have the belt line behind us!
