Do not move here
I lived here for two years and moved out as soon as I could. This place has been absolutely terrible. When I signed my lease, I was told the landscaping around my unit would be done before I moved in. It didn’t get done until two years later right before I moved out. When I moved in there was a crack in the sink and laminate and tears in the wallpaper. There was a hole or open pipe underneath the laminate flooring in the utility room that you can feel when you walked over it. The patio fence has... a nail sticking out of it and one of the counters wasn’t fully secured. There are gunshots on 4th of july and new years every year. Shady area too, with people who care less for those who live around them. After living there for a few months multiple outlets started sparking causing power surges. It broke an electric razor I had charging. I contacted the office and they sent maintenance a day later. All they did was verify the outlets had power and told me they didn’t spark when they were there. I wrote a google review about that situation and they decided to send an actual electrician. The electrician found multiple outlets with live wires. Once the electrician fixed them, the property manager called me and asked for the review to be taken down. When I resigned my lease I was offered a new set of blinds that I never received. Before I moved out, they did a walk through and told me they were planning on renovating my unit once I left. After moving out I requested that I can be there for the final walk through. They never called me back to do the walk through and just sent me an invoice for damages. I do have a cat so the only damage there was on the carpet and on my first set of blinds. If I received my free blinds in the first place wouldn’t be charged for them. I am also being charged for the sink that was already cracked when I moved in. I called the office to see if I can get the blind charge taken off since I didn’t get my free set and they refused. And when I mentioned the sink already being cracked they said they didn’t have my move in sheet to prove the damage was already there. I turned it in the same day I signed my lease. If I didn’t turn that sheet in I would have been charged for the laminate flooring damage as well. They are clearly scamming me out of money.
