When I first moved in, the marketing looked impressive — modern post-and-beam design, nice amenities, and what seemed like a premium community. Unfortunately, the reality is far from what they advertise, especially for the high rent prices we’re all paying.
The biggest ongoing issues are the dirty common areas and terrible maintenance. Trash is frequently scattered between the parking lot and apartment doors, making the walk to my unit feel more like an inner-city slum than a luxury apartment... complex in Marlboro. Neighbors have repeatedly complained about the lack of cleanliness in hallways, stairwells, and outdoor spaces, but nothing seems to improve.
On top of that, the building quality is shockingly poor for what they charge. Leaks, constant breaks, and shoddy construction mean things are always falling apart. Whether it’s plumbing issues, doors that don’t close properly, or general wear that appears far too quickly, the maintenance team can’t keep up — or simply doesn’t prioritize it. Multiple residents, including myself, feel like we’re dealing with substandard construction that wasn’t built to last.
At these rent prices, tenants expect a clean, well-maintained property that justifies the cost. Instead, the “shine” has completely worn off. The premium feel they promote is completely dimmed by neglect, poor upkeep, and an overall lack of pride in the community. It’s disappointing and frustrating to pay top dollar only to deal with these daily annoyances and safety concerns related to cleanliness and building integrity.
Pros: The location is convenient, and some of the floor plans look nice on paper.
Cons: Filthy common areas, frequent leaks and breakdowns due to cheap construction, unresponsive or slow maintenance, and rent that no longer makes any sense given the declining conditions.
I strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you value cleanliness, quality construction, and basic maintenance. Save your money — The Lodge is not worth it anymore. Potential renters, do your homework and talk to current residents before signing a lease.

My stay here at the Lodge has been a very pleasant experience as we have been here 1year and 3 months. Most neighbors are very pleasant and friendly. The workers are very helpful, knowledgeable and concerning as they rectify any issues that I and other tenants may have all day long and still be pleasant. There's an aire of welcoming here that begins at the front desk, thank you front desk crew. This is much needed in a place you have to dwell in. It's very reassuring and it helps to have a... positive welcome home how are you doing today type of feeling.
