I’ve never written a review before, but this place truly deserves one. From the first day I moved in, there were issues—bugs everywhere, no hot water in the secondary bathroom, and even a cracked toilet bowl and no dishwasher and took maintenance 6 months to replace. Months later, my AC/heat stopped working for three full weeks, and maintenance didn’t seem to know how to fix it. On top of that, my boyfriend’s car was stolen from the parking lot—this is the same lot they claim is “patrolled.”... Clearly, that’s not true. Safety here is a serious concern.
The leasing office is just as bad. The management is completely disorganized, and frankly unprofessional. There’s constant turnover—you get a new property manager every couple of months, and nothing ever gets resolved.
Save yourself the stress and do NOT move here. If you’re already living here, I strongly suggest you do not renew your lease. It’s not worth it. Read More

I’m giving 1 star because my experience here has been terrible.

• The main bathroom has ongoing issues: the tub has been reglazed 3 times in one year instead of being replaced, there is constant mold with no permanent solution (despite having a newborn), and the sink and floor drain are almost always clogged — as I’m writing this, the floor drain is clogged again for the 5th time in 2026 with no real fix.
• Mice infestation for over a year with no effective resolution.
• People smoke day and... night in the building.
• There were also frequent water shutoffs in 2025 with no advance notice—notifications usually came after the water was already off (only occasional occurrences this year).

These are unacceptable living conditions and show a complete lack of concern for tenant health and safety. Do not move here unless you want to regret it. Read More

I’ve lived at Fairland Crossing for 8 years, always paid on time, and never had major issues—until the new management took over. Since then, everything has gone downhill.

My mother went through a terrifying trauma when a live black snake came into our apartment near the kitchen space. I immediately notified the property manager, Shlomo Khoshkerman with Sage Ventures LLC. I rushed to the property office and waited 5 hours for Mr. Khoshkerman to answer his phone and authorize removal of the snake... . Only after finally getting approval from management was I allowed to call animal police—and by then, the snake was still sitting in the same spot.

Management later sent maintenance to “check” the apartment, but they never closed the outside holes that allowed the snake to get inside. I told them I could not live in the apartment anymore and asked to be released early from my lease because I was forced to sleep in hotels or at friends’ homes. Instead of helping, Mr. Khoshkerman refused and demanded that I pay out the full lease and termination fees. When I asked for upper management’s contact information, he refused to provide it.

On top of that, I’ve dealt with mice issues for all 8 years of living here, and the problem has never been fixed.

For someone who has been a loyal resident for 8 years, never late on rent, the lack of care and accountability is shocking. Tenant safety and well-being are clearly not a priority here.

If you’re considering moving here—think twice. Management does not take safety seriously, ignores major problems, and shows zero respect for tenants.

In addition to the rats, mice, roaches and over flowing dumpsters… this property also makes a habit of losing your rental payments and destroying your rental history as a result of their disorganization, unprofessionalism and incompetence. Their leasing office has had such a high turn over of staff in the last 12 months that no one knows their right hand from their left.
