Great Location & Interiors - TERRIBLE Parking
Positives - These apartments are exactly where you want to be in Clawson, they are pretty well updated, and the maintenance team is nice and attentive.
Negatives - Several residents were (unintentionally or intentionally) mislead by the real estate agent upon viewing the apartments - the agent contracted to show the townhouses has little to no idea how things run here, and almost zero interaction with the management company. The water billing here is "communal," meaning four townhouses each... get 25% of the "building bill," regardless of the unit's individual use. Management is nearly impossible to get a hold of - don't expect a response to emails, and calls have to be made early in the morning for any response. PARKING IS A NIGHTMARE. There are eight 2 bedroom units here, with 12 legitimate parking spots, and two "floaters." Each unit only gets one assigned spot (ASK THE REAL ESTATE AGENT HOW MANY SPOTS ARE RESERVED FOR YOUR UNIT). That is a potential for 16 cars with only 12-14 spots. Your reserved spot will be taken, guests and visitors will park in the "open parking" spots, and you will end up parking 1.5 blocks away at a liquor store and walking - hope you don't have a bunch of groceries to carry! Management still does not have a solution for removing cars from the lot, so you're on your own. Knock on a tenants door and ask them for details before you sign anything.
