Bad (REALLY bad) communication from management, bed bug outbreaks were a serious concern, and the elevator was constantly broken (my friend even got stuck on it once and had to be rescued by myself and another tenant). Also, I have found the apartment management and the corporate management to lie - often, especially around complaints lodged against them. No private parking, so your car is at the mercy of street parking (mine got sideswiped and broken into more than once). Its an okay place and... has some really nice historical attributes, but the parking and terrible management make it not worth even the reasonable price of renting close to downtown. To start off the building and the landscape is very well kept. The maintenance man(Alan) is great and is Johnny on the spot! My one bedroom apartment is very spacious and still has the original hardwood floors and they are gorgeous! The location is the best part though. One block down the road is the river walk which offer so much to do. You are within a half mile of the rennisance center and within walking distance to downtown and pretty much anything you need. There is a laundry room in the... basement which is convenient. Your heat is included, unfortunately no AC. But a window air conditioner cools down the place fast!
