    Caveat Emptor

    I'm writing this review on behalf of a close friend who currently lives at Krauter Apartments...and based on what I’ve seen and experienced alongside them, I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone.

    The management, led by a landlord named Steve, has consistently shown a lack of compassion, professionalism, and fairness when dealing with residents. My friend is currently being evicted, despite communicating their financial hardship and a clear intention to resolve the issue. Instead of    … working with them, management chose to escalate the situation quickly and without regard for basic human decency.

    To make matters worse, their vehicle was towed less than 24 hours after being tagged for a flat tire...before they had any realistic chance to repair it. This kind of response is not only excessive but reflects a broader pattern of hostility rather than helpfulness.

    As a licensed real estate professional, I strongly advise anyone looking to rent in Garden City to think twice before signing a lease here. The treatment of residents at this complex doesn’t reflect the values of responsible property management or the standard of care that tenants deserve.

    Krauter Apartments may offer housing, but it doesn’t offer much in the way of support, grace, or dignity.
