Swan Harbour Apartments

I don’t usually write reviews, but my experience with Swan Harbor was so exceptional that I felt compelled to share. If you’re considering making this your home, I can confidently say it’s an outstanding choice.

From lease signing to move-out, Diane and Michelle in the leasing office were incredible—always responsive, helpful, and professional. Their dedication, along with the outstanding maintenance team, made my time here seamless and stress-free.

The apartment itself was well-built and... meticulously maintained. With today’s skyrocketing rent prices, I never felt like I was overpaying for the quality I received. The community was equally impressive—welcoming neighbors and a friendly atmosphere made it feel like home.

The location is unbeatable. Just minutes from beautiful downtown Northville, it’s easily accessible by car or even a scenic walk. Plus, the variety of shopping and dining options in Livonia is just a short drive away.

I could go on about why Swan Harbor is the best apartment complex in Northville, but I’ll leave it at this—don’t hesitate to sign that lease!

My wife and I have officially moved into our new home, but lived at Swan Harbour for 6 years. We were always provided with a safe, clean, and friendly environment. We never had any issues with noise and any maintenance requests were addressed timely and professionally. We wanted to say thank you for giving us the opportunity to save for our dream home. We loved living in our apartment and have many great memories.

The apartment complex is old. The floors creeks a lot, appliances and carpet are old too. The heater doesn’t work properly and filters are old too. The manager and the staff are not well coordinated. The manager is a rude person to talk and treats residents and customer in an unwelcome manner. One star is just for the location as it’s closer to downtown and other essential stores. Our experience of staying here was terrible. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone.

Don't know if this is the same management/ ownership as when this happened some years ago, but on the morning I was supposed to move to the apartments, I got a call that the apt. "wasn't ready." THE MORNING I WAS SUPPOSED TO MOVE!
I was packed up. Utilities had been changed. The apt. I had been in had been notified weeks before that I was vacating. Relatives had come from out-of-town to help with the move, and were already on their way that morning to pick up a rental truck.
I had to scramble... to stop them & most of all to see if the apt. I was then living in could let me stay.
A huge regret is that I didn't sue Swan Harbour for violation of contract. Read More

Although I will be moving for work-related reasons within the month, I wanted to take the opportunity to write a positive review for Swan Harbour. The apartment is wonderful and management has been very responsive over the course of the past year. Utilities are incredibly affordable and the parking lots (one covered space is provided for each apartment) are well-lit and tended properly during the winter months. There are washers and dryers included in the units and the appliances are in fine... working order. The location is also convenient as it is less than a mile to downtown Northville as well as around a mile to grocery and shopping centers.
