pictures are catfishy

i lived here in 2024 and the pictures they have on this site are not what the actual rooms look like. most of them are very old and worn. i highly recommend touring your unit before move in an checking the quality of the paint etc as the pictures here are just misleading. it wasn’t terrible to live here as a student but there are nicer places for the same price that is much safer a few miles away

One battle after another

I was a tenant at Burlington Apartments in St. Paul, Mn from 2023-2025. I liked it at first and had minor issues like limited parking but it got worse quickly.
Here are my list of issues I had in my time at this property:
The sauna ironically only worked during the summer and was broken every winter I lived there.
Garage door won't open consistently.
Laundry card stopped working with money on it.
Had to buy new laundry card and put more money on that.
Washing machine on my floor messed up my...
clothes.
Washing machine on my floor shook violently and moved across room regularly, and also rarely worked.
Washing machine on 1st floor messed up my blanket.
The property has way too many dogs, that bark in unison every morning.
My Mail has been stolen.
Although I had a registered parking spot for all my time there, my car was towed one day because of a paperwork error (I got their admission to this on video).
My Car was broken into even though I parked in the garage and it has a security camera the office staff refused to find out who did it and kick them out (especially since other residents told me they're storage locker was also stolen from)
Finally when I moved out I had to hunt down my renters certificate 2 months later and still have not received my deposit refund although they emailed me a month ago that it would be here by now. I have emailed and called multiple times to any and all contact information for this company to no avail.

It was a great experience, from day one the staff where very helpful and show me the apartment and the amenities. The best place I see between my budget.
I just finished my room and have my first couple of days. Not complaining at all. I really love to have my car on the heating garage.

I like it here. The last manager in the back office was not great but once she left the living conditions improved. Rent is getting a bit high though for the area and I will likely move next year. Thanks though overall!

In general apartment is OK, but there are many areas for improvement. One of the 2 elevators in my building has been broken for months with no signs of repairs. The windows are in such poor shape water leaks into the window tracks when it rains. Likewise, in the winter there is a lot of frost build-up on the inside of the windows. This may be why the wood sills are rotting. The carpeting in my unit is very old, and looks old, but is deemed as OK.
