Great place to live but inconsistent on management and maintenance.
I just renewed my lease for the first time with Delaware on Primrose. Overall, I do like living here and enjoy being able to call this place home. It is a great location and you cannot beat washer dryer hookups. However, there have been some issues with management since I moved in. There have been a lot of maintenance concerns that have not been addressed until they became a larger problem. One time when I called to ask for an update on a maintenance issue I was told to “we don’t have a... maintenance person on staff right now, get in line you and everyone else have a problem” by the old property manager. However, I am looking forward to getting to know the new property manager and optimistic we will have a good working relationship. The office staff other than the property managers I have had (there were three in a year) are amazing and consistent and I am grateful for them. As other reviews state, the biggest concern is the lack of maintenance. I do not know if this is due to how maintenance employees are treated/payed but I have lived in other properties that have consistent maintenance employees because it is a well payed and desirable job. I do believe if they have an issue maintaining maintenance workers, they need to look at how to make their experience better so they don’t want to leave. When my maintenance concerns are addressed, they do a great job. I wish we had a consistent maintenance employee. Overall, I do love my apartment and think it is a great place to live, but there are significant issues with communication between tenants and property management staff that I hope are addressed as I continue living here.
