So I write a work order to replace two bathroom lights that went out. I was told to buy the bulbs and they would install them. First I can't reach them, second if I could, I might as well change it myself. Management was no help at all.

Not Worth The Headache
A year ago, Walker Steele Creek, which was formerly Steele Creek Rivergate, was a nice place to live. It was quiet, new, and inviting. The cost of rent has increased by a high percentage. The parking situation is very bad. The area is known for high crime. The smell of weed is always overwhelming.
Rent increases are common, but it seems like the property management team increases rent with the goal of forcing existing residents out so they can make room for new, higher-paying tenants.
Good... luck finding a place to park. They planned poorly. Every space in the complex is full, even though there is a rule against more than two cars per unit. They tried a permit system but gave up after a few weeks of residents and visitors getting their cars booted. Now they want an extra $100 per car per month if you want to park in front of your building.
I would recommend parking at Target and walking to your apartment if you move to Walker Steele Creek, but because of the high crime, it might be dangerous. Police activity is common at WSC and there have been cars stolen from the resident lot, drug deals, and other crimes committed at the complex according to CMPD.
People are constantly smoking, skateboarding, and wandering the complex late at night. It isn't a safe place to be. It is cheaper than other complexes in Charlotte but not worth your time. You can't opt out of the trash fee. Comporium is the only internet provider offered. The office is closed on Sundays and not open to residents during non-business hours. The pool has been closed because of destructive parties.

Run far away
There is a reason this property is still listing rental specials! No accountability from the property management. There are hidden fees once you move in that are not discussed. The parking is horrible! It is first come for anyone! Meaning, people that don't live here can park anywhere. Now they are taking away more parking by making them reserved for $100/month. No noise insulation. Drug deals going on in the parking lots at 8 am. They say there is security but I have never seen them, and they... don't give out information to contact them. The water heaters are so small you get a 10 minute hot shower. So many other residents say they have complained multiple times for different reasons (noise, smoking, parking, etc) and nothing gets resolved.
