Anson at North Hills

It's been positive. I've enjoyed the amenities available to us as residents, and the new management has been helpful when we've had questions or concerns. Change is hard but I believe the new management has the community's best interest at heart. I recently transferred to a renovated one bedroom and I am really pleased. It has that new feeling.

The new management is money hungry. Life was great before the anson came to the Chelsea. They charge $50 for having too much trash when before it used to be only a note on the door and your trash is left behind. You are already paying $30 a month for valet trash. Wants to charge me for a hole in carpet when they are going to rip the carpet out of my apartment to put down tiles.

I signed a lease here and then my circumstances changed where I no longer wished to take the apartment. This is before I received keys or paid rent. I tried to revoke my signature on the lease and the property would not let me. I was told I’d have to pay to get out of the lease. Mind you I have not received keys or paid rent. (When I talk to other properties and companies they tell me you have til the move in date to revoke your signature. My move in date isn’t til tomorrow and they won’t let me… out of the lease. The apartments are good but everything else seems to be lacking. Laundry room is usually gross and not maintained well as in standing water on the floor of a curious color and half the dryers are not in operating order but not posted as such. The fitness center and front pool are not open because of construction which does not seem like has a sense of urgency. This place is decent to rent because the actual apartment is nice but does not deliver on any of the ammenties that is advertised.
