Same Comment – Nothing Has Changed

I have been living at Mountain Run Apartments since 2017, and overall it has been a wonderful place to live. The community is quiet, well maintained, and the people are very friendly, which makes it feel like home. Management and maintenance are generally responsive and helpful, which I appreciate as a long-term resident.

However, my concerns remain the same. The gym still needs serious improvement. I have requested upgrades many times, but the equipment is... very old, much of it does not work, and the weights are very limited. The gym really needs repairs, replacements, and more equipment for residents.

In addition, my apartment is quite old and requires regular upkeep. Every year, several items need maintenance or replacement to continue living comfortably in the same unit. Overall, I enjoy living here, but I hope to see improvements and possibly lower rent for long-term residents. Read More

I like how the front office is doing more events and different giveaways and other things on a month to month.

Dog poop is starting to increase again all throughout the property (pro-dominantly in area away from the front office).

We just moved in last month and are still adjusting to an apartment after living in a house for many years. We appreciate all the amenities Mountain Run has to offer, especially the dog grooming station and dog yard. It definitely helped our dog with the transition to apartment-living. So far, the only mishap we've had is our microwave needing to be replaced, which the maintenance team quickly responded to. Our car did get booted about 3 weeks in, but in fairness it is because of our expired tag... AND the front office did inform us when we signed the lease that we had 2 weeks get it taken care of. I guess we just needed that extra push to update our car registration lol.
We chose Mountain Run for it's proximity to our school and work, and I do have to say, I'm glad we chose this location, very convenient in regards to saving time and gas. Read More

Move in has been ok so far. Staff was helpful and friendly. One of our cats was having a hard time adjusting on their first night and we may have upset one of our neighbors as they came knocking on the door, but once we explained what was going on they were forgiving about it. 2nd weekend of move in there was dog poop on the sidewalk. It is all over the lawns near our apartment, apparently dog owners don't pick up after their pets here, but to leave it in the middle of the sidewalk is disgusting... . Do better dog owners. Read More
