Not enough characters to explain. Coming up on my one year of living here, and planning to move out. While this review reflects a bit of the past year of living here, it has changed management the past month (last two months of my lease). Previous management was not great. Heather in the office, while responding in a timely manner, was not always helpful. 1. New management took over at the end of the month, when people’s rent was nearing due, and switched everyone to a new portal with heavier… fines for paying rent, double the previous pet rent, and I was charged a late fee (wasn’t late) and they have not yet refunded that to me. New management states they prefer text, but do not answer when you text or email, and when you call, the lines go nowhere. 2. Upon signing my lease, I was told both verbally and via email that due to where I work, I would get a free months rent due to working for a ‘preferred employer’, as well as getting a $25 credit for leaving a (forced) good review, which was then not communicated to the new management, and it looks like I will not be getting either. 3. There was a mouse infestation when I moved in (caught over 25 mice in 20 days and sent a pic of each one to management) and they did nothing for months until I called code enforcement, then it was fixed the same day. 4. Shared spaces are dirty in general. The back door that I lived by was always broken and anyone could come in, a man kept coming in to pee on the wall and then would leave. Packages and anything in the hallways would get stolen, my welcome mat for example, there is trash everywhere, and everything is broken, such as door handles that you cannot open other ways.
