Chestnut Commons
Lived here since 2015. New mgt in 2020. People do smoke cigarettes and weed within apartments and it can stink up hallway. Cig butts and trash all around landscaping and parking lot. Price point NOT in line with no dining area & no in unit WD. Just because it's Emmaus; you're paying solely for location.
But I feel extremely safe. No rodents / pests. Good shower pressure with hot water. No loitering in hallways or parking lot or entrance. All apts are one bedroom. Pets allowed!

Overpriced and poor service
Thankful that I went with my gut and didn’t sign the lease. They lure you in with a low price and then raise it “by mistake” excessive fees leave you paying more than you agreed to. The inflated price is not justified; units are too small, buildings are poorly lit and poorly ventilated. Leasing agent was rude, unprofessional, disorganized and behaved more like a used car salesman than a property manager. Don’t let them pressure you or lie to you, you can and should do better.

Worst place to live in Emmaus
Walls are beyond paper thin. "Remodeling" is happening and the interior is a mess, the workers do not clean up after themselves. Maintenance requests take 2 weeks to get resolved, even for emergency issues like the kitchen sink not working. Snow plowing was a joke.
