My experience living here has been very poor. The noise from my upstair and downstair neighbors is constant. Fire alarms go off all the time and there's constant barking. Currently, there’s a loud, constant thumping bass noise playing day and night from my upstairs neighbor. I have to wear earplugs and use a white noise machine to sleep every night due to the sound being the loudest in my bedroom and bathroom. This has been a reoccurring issue with this noise and others since I moved in. It's… affected my mental health living here. The unit itself is very dated and old and has an odd odor no matter how much I clear. The buildings are falling apart and not upkept: halls are filthy and rarely cleaned with trash and roaches and other pests, doors and hinges are broken, elevator gets stuck or is broken a lot, lights are out, etc. This list goes on and on. Improved upkeep, reduction of noise, and communication from office would improve the experience. All the positive reviews are inflated because they are completed by people who don't live here. I would not reccommended living at this apartment or any Cortland property.

I’ve really enjoyed my experience living at Cortland so far. The location is excellent, with easy access to the Silver Line, DFW, parks, restaurants, and pubs. The leasing team has been welcoming, responsive, and genuinely helpful from day one. A special shout-out to Tyler, who helped us from the application through move-in, and Manager Jeff, who went above and beyond to help resolve a payment issue. Their willingness to listen, care, and find solutions really stands out. Overall, a great… community and a team that truly cares about its residents.

I have had an amazing experience at Cortland Addison Circle! The team is so genuine, helpful, and responsive. From my tour, to move in, to now being a resident, this team has made me feel valued and appreciated! When moving in there were a few small maintenance requests I had and they addressed it so quickly! I absolutely love my apartment. The finishes are beautiful and the layout is very spacious! The pool and gym are also amazing! I really appreciate the valet trash service as well as the… parcel lockers! The location is also ideal! You are right by everything in the Addison circle but with it being slightly down the street from some restaurants and bars, I find Cortland to be a bit more quiet and private. This complex is also very safe and it is such a relief to have plenty of covered parking which I do know can be an issue at other complexes! Cannot recommend Cortland Addison Circle enough!
