Abhorrent experience
This apartment is a nightmare, and I strongly warn against renting here. I've lived here for three months, and it’s been miserable. Believe the poor reviews; good ones may be fake. Living here is deplorable due to incessant noise, negligence, and disregard for tenants. It’s the worst apartment I’ve rented. Issues persist, making tenancy unbearable. Noise is a major issue; sound insulation is nonexistent. Upstairs neighbors’ constant stomping, furniture dragging, and dropping of items rattle... fixtures, making the both bedrooms unusable for sleep, and any area unsuitable for quiet enjoyment. The subflooring was supposedly repaired after repeated concerns were raised, but vibrations from upstairs and the outdoor AC unit persist. I reported the AC issue on my move-in checklist and via emails, but management ignored me. I provided audio-visual evidence of the noise and vibrations, but it was dismissed. Plumbing issues are rampant, with weekly shutoffs and "etiquette" emails blaming residents for poor infrastructure. My first-floor bathroom had water leaking from the upstairs unit’s vent fan. Repairs left gaps in the ceiling, plaster on the carpet, dust in the bathtub, paint on the floors, and no accountability from management. Property management is incompetent. My properly registered vehicle, with an updated Texas license plate, was towed without notice due to a disconnected carport system requiring manual updates—a fact never communicated. I lost a workday, paid for an Uber to the impound lot, and needed a brake adjustment due to the tow company’s negligence. A damaged carport nearby went unrepaired for nearly a month. The parking lot has vehicle-damaging potholes. Residents pay for an unused package locker system. The “SmartRent” system allows the complex to override controls without consent. Upon move-in, the unit had debris in the carpets, improperly hooked-up appliances, and broken fixtures. Management claimed ignorance about the unit’s condition before my tenancy. I offered to swap units if issues weren’t addressed, but management ignored me for months until I demanded a meeting. They admitted negligence, offering to reimburse my Uber fee only if I waived liability and agreed to a gag order, which I rejected. This complex’s neglect, poor communication, and failure to address urgent issues make it unbearable. DO NOT RENT HERE. I’ll never do business with their parent company, BH Management Services, LLC, and hope to leave soon.

Robert, this feedback is hard to receive, as I have met with you personally and even offered to transfer you to a nearby or upper-level unit. All reasonable efforts have been made to address and remedy your concerns promptly and professionally, but... unfortunately, you continue to express dissatisfaction after multiple corrective actions. We have explained the early lease termination process in full and will continue to provide support in alignment with our resident relations standards.
