Not a Great Place to Live
It took me some time to write this review because I wanted to gather my thoughts. This property is beautiful, and when I moved in back in November I truly wanted to love living here. I hoped it would be a place I’d stay long term, but my experience has made me question whether I’ll even finish my lease.
My biggest concern is that resident issues do not feel heard or addressed. I emailed the regional manager, Theresa, on February 26 and as of April 26 I have still not received a response. I also... requested a phone call, but she declined in favor of email and has not followed up.
Building access and safety are also concerns. On February 1 at 5:58 AM, I found a homeless man sleeping in the lobby. The parking garage gate has also been broken for several weeks. While the building seems easily accessible to non-residents, it is difficult for actual residents to grant access to guests or delivery drivers.
Residents cannot grant elevator access directly from their unit. The only option is sending a link that requires guests to download an app, which most people, especially delivery drivers, will not do. Otherwise, residents have to go downstairs themselves. At this price point, there should be a more convenient solution.
Shortly after moving in, my apartment flooded. During that process, I experienced unprofessional communication from the property manager, Brooke, including being blamed for delays despite the vendor confirming the unit was dry. Since then, interactions have often felt dismissive, which makes raising concerns uncomfortable. This seems to align with other negative reviews about staff attitudes.
Additionally, some amenities have been unavailable while residents are still being charged an amenity fee. Had I known this beforehand, I would not have allowed the aesthetics to influence my decision.
There are things I could overlook, but not feeling heard is not one of them.
I previously removed an earlier version of this review out of concern for potential lease renewal implications. However, since I am now considering moving, I felt it was important to share my experience.
Lastly, if you enjoy entertaining, be aware there are strict limitations on using common areas with guests. In my opinion, these spaces lose value if they cannot be comfortably used as intended, especially when residents are already paying an amenity fee.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We value your feedback and perceptions and want you to know that your experience matters to us. I'd like to address each of your concerns:
Our community team is your best resource for day-to-day questions and... concerns, as they have the most direct insight into what's happening at the property. We want to make sure you always feel heard, and they are the right people to help get you the answers you need.
We take the comfort of our residents very seriously. The incident you mentioned occurred after the front door failed to close behind someone entering the community. We do have overnight patrol in place seven days a week to help keep our community comfortable for everyone.
We understand how important convenience is. Our app-based access system is designed with the privacy and comfort of all residents in mind, and we appreciate your patience as we work within those parameters. If you need a tutorial for the app, please let us know. Once you use the app a time or two you will use it with ease.
We completely understand that a concierge is an important amenity for some residents. While it is not something we have offered or planned for this community, we appreciate you sharing that feedback as we always want to know what matters most to our community.
We are sorry that your experience got off to a rocky start. Maintenance situations can be stressful, and we genuinely want to make things right. We have extended an invitation to meet in person, and that offer remains open whenever you are ready. We would love the chance to start fresh.
We want to reassure you that retaliation is absolutely not something we would ever practice. Our only goal is for you to feel happy and at home here. We genuinely hope you will take us up on our offer to meet so we can turn things around and make the rest of your time here a great experience.
Our shared spaces are truly some of the best features of this community, and we want every resident to enjoy them! Our policies are simply in place to make sure everyone has a fair and enjoyable experience, and that the spaces remain available and well-maintained for all.
Kanesha, we truly hope to have the opportunity to make this right. You deserve to love where you live, and we are committed to working toward that with you. Our door is always open.
Theresa W.
