- NOVEL Turtle Creek Management

This review is my personal experience living in Novel Turtle Creek.
My experience at Novel Turtle Creek was far from what I expected. Promised a secure, high-end living experience, the reality was shocking. A burglary during our tenancy resulted in a loss of over $350,000 in valuables. Novel Turtle Creek's management, operated by Greystar, failed to respond adequately.
The management's response was slow and unprepared, lacking a clear protocol for handling break-ins. They only notified residents after persistent pressure, leaving us feeling unsafe.
More... concerning was the revelation that our incident wasn't isolated. A neighboring apartment was burglarized just ten days before ours, with no notification to residents. Another resident was asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement about their burglary, raising questions about transparency.
The management's obfuscation of the Dallas Police Department's inquiries deepened our concerns. Security improvements were only made after a series of burglaries, and reaching the right people at Greystar proved difficult.
A significant issue remained unaddressed - the malfunctioning LATCH entry system. It failed to provide transparency about who entered our apartment, leaving us in the dark about our safety.
In conclusion, we moved due to unmet promises and security issues. Greystar fell short on its commitments. I share this to prevent others from experiencing what my family did.

Love the location, a bit quieter and more residential than Oak Lawn and Uptown in general. The resident events contribute to a strong sense of community, and the management team is top notch.

I am extremely satisfied with my experience at NOVEL after 8 months of living here. The entire staff is attentive, courteous and friendly. The amenities are fabulous and the events held regularly are fantastic and a great way to meet the residents. The location is ideal and the building is stunning!
