Let’s start with what is good here. The units are a good size, (plenty of kids over here) and we were happy with the space. The trees outside are mature and charming. The pool is fun and usually empty. Though, the pool hours are incorrectly posted as 9am opening time. We informed management that the sign is misleading because they don’t open it till 10am, and on weekends they may not open it at all since they keep “losing the keys”. When you tell management something they are very sweet and... polite to your face, but rarely follow through with what they say. You have to unfortunately be “that tenant” who bugs them to do their job. The office hours say one thing, but staff is hardly around, usually “out for lunch”, an hour late, leave an hour early. If you can catch em, they try to push work off onto other employees. This is simple work mind you, like i need to return my keys or sign a form and the paper is right in the desk, but you can’t be bothered to help because your co worker is late. Drama I should not be a part of as a mere tenant. What is worse is the bills and fees. We payed for valet trash our entire tenancy and we never once received that service. Similarly we payed for “pest control” and had a single visit. These are fees that add up. About $150 added to rent when you add up fees like valet trash, plus pest control, plus the absurd convenience fee to pay rent (they won’t allow you to pay rent with money order or check, and you can’t pay early). Since you have to pay online using their system, you are forced into a fee even if you have other means to pay, none of it makes any sense. Thankfully we had means and this wasn’t a big deal for us, but it is DISHONEST and WRONG. And after all this, they can’t do a simple thing like fix the pool sign hours. We had an AC unit burst overnight and we had to emergency vacate the premises. We could not get the AI to route us to maintenance. It kept telling me to call 911. After I lied to the AI and got the courtesy officer on the phone, he didn’t have the managers number nor the maintenance peoples number… so we moved all our kids to a hotel room at 1am and ate the costs. Management was unconcerned with their flop and provide no way to reach them in emergency failures like that. Make sure you are VERY low maintenance personality, not minding a broken stove, microwave, ac unit, windows, shower, etc. the place has been around awhile and it shows.
