Super frustrating experience visiting San Simeon. My car was towed within minutes of arrival while the parking permit confirmation was being emailed to us. I had to pay over $300 to get the car back and go back to my family member’s place in a bad mood. San Simeon ruined a perfectly good day at all cost just to gain a bit extra cash. This is despite the fact that we followed all parking rules. If you’d like to get visited by family/friends, don’t stay at San Simeon!

Thank you for your feedback. We understand how frustrating a tow can be. At San Simeon, all vehicles must be fully registered and active in our license-plate-based parking system before parking. Tow operators are unable to view pending registrations... or email confirmations and can only verify active plate information at the time of enforcement. Management does not benefit from towing; enforcement is handled by a third-party vendor to ensure consistent application of the policy for all residents and guests. We encourage guests to complete registration prior to arrival to avoid this issue and are happy to assist with questions about the process.

Break ins
Imagine being sold on paying an additional fee for "security" every month for a peace of mind and walking out to go to work and finding your car broken with the no rims and tires sitting on the floor. Then imagine from other reviews that there have been other car break ins within the last couple weeks and no messages have gone out to notify residents of the issues and how the issue is being mitigated. This makes the 2nd break in for our family, I can only imagine how many more issues like this... go unheard of. There has to be a level of comfort for theives to keep returning.

Thank you for your comments. We do not charge residents a security fee. As a company, we do everything we can to take care of our residents, however each person remains responsible for his or her own safety. While we can't prevent crime from... happening, we do take steps to promote preventative measures. We never want our residents to experience crime at home, or anywhere else. As always, we are in touch with local authorities when crime occurs either at our community or in the area.

Best apartments upper houston
The apartments are renovated + smart apartments using apps * reasonable pricing Definitely recommended
Management at this property is horrendous. Since being taken over by Knightvest, the front office has become even less responsive, and does not take responsibility for any of the issues in the property. Water has been out for multiple days at a time, people have been locked out after hours due to a malfunction on the electric locks, and multiple packages have been stolen on a regular basis. Every single time there is an issue, management claims it is not their problem and is the third party's... problem because they have delegated responsibility over every meaningful aspect of the property to a third party service provider, and are unable to help residents. Very difficult to get help during short hours and phone line typically just goes to voicemail. Beware of five star reviews, they are likely paid for by management. There are plenty of newer, cheaper, better maintained apartments nearby. No need to live in a place that is right next to construction for the next few years.

Great community
I moved from Ohio to Texas and had no idea where to live. The staff at San Simeon have been gracious and accommodating in our transition to this wonderful city. I am so glad we chose this little community with so many nice neighbors. It made our move so much easier to handle.
