The initial excitement about my new apartment quickly turned into shocking frustration due to the management team's unprofessional and hostile approach to rule enforcement. Within just four days of my move-in, I was immediately targeted with a rude verbal warning for briefly parking in front of my dedicated, non-obstructive garage, a rule that is not explicitly stated in the lease or provided in any written Community Policies. Excellent community. Very clean. Location is a plus, a lot of events for the residents. The maintenance service is good and fast. You will love to live here.

I’ve lived at this apartment complex for a while, and while the location and potential are great, the management and upkeep have been disappointing. The office staff is friendly enough in person but rarely follows through on resident concerns. Maintenance requests and community issues often go unanswered or take weeks to resolve.

One of the biggest problems is cleanliness around the property — there’s dog waste all over the grounds, and it’s clear that enforcement of pet policies is... inconsistent. It makes walks around the community unpleasant, especially since the dog park was recently downgraded instead of improved. I wouldn't recommend The Tobin Estate if you are a light sleeper. There is a popping/dripping sound due to a water heater that management is aware of; it occurs at all hours and is particularly noticeable in the evenings and early mornings. Management is aware of it and has mentioned it is affecting several units. If you are one of the units that is affected by this it will likely wake you up whenever you are trying to sleep.

Besides this issue, the community and amenities are really nice.

My husband and I leased our apartment at The Tobin because of ALL the green space! My husband is an avid gardener and enjoys having two patios to fill with all of his herbs and vegetables. We LOVE our community!
