This is a good place to live. When I 1st sold my house, & needed a nearby home to
live, Spencer 68 was brand new.Both the community & living environment met my
needs. The staff & residents were helpful & friendly.

Application process is fairly straight-forward. I was able to complete the application and get approved without even seeing the property. To be honest, I think that's a little odd, but it helped my personal situation great, so I'm not going to complain.

I like the location. The apartment itself is good. The grounds are starting to need work- flowerbeds, pots, garbage areas, doggie areas all look worn, sparse or need refreshed. Tha propeller building is dirty- cobwebs in the entry, scuff marks on the furniture, beat up doors, paint peeling. The lobby near the elevator rarely gets cleaned and so the floor is sticky and dirty. The place smells of dog urine. The walls need washed because wet dogs have left their dirt behind. Coffee spills arent... cleaned up, and the elevator is dirty. Currently, there are new garbage cans throughout the halls, that have been there since December 21st. I suspect that the units are empty. But the cans aren't collected by maintenance. I'm a regular caller/complainer about these issues, and the management knows me because of it. Yet, no action to rectify.

understand your frustration, especially given that these issues have been raised previously without visible improvement. That is not the experience we want for our residents, and we take responsibility for the lack of follow-through.
Your feedback has been escalated, and we are addressing cleaning, maintenance, and landscaping concerns, including the Propeller building common areas and hallway garbage containers. You should begin to see improvements as these items are resolved.

While trash often fills up and common areas are neglected of deep cleanings, we get a "rewards program". Communication is lacking often coming after a change to the community rather than before. Minimal community engagement - few gathering opportunities, no updates about important news or goings-on in the larger community or plans within the complex. The common office area remains locked during business hours styming any feeling of openness or a safe community giving a clear vibe of "we're not... safe here". The people who work on the property are really friendly, but the post-capitalism corporate ethos of focus on profits over people is evident.
