Renter beware!
The apartments haven’t been maintained well over the years. Renovations feel as cheap as possible, and since moving in I’ve had to submit roughly two dozen repair requests just to get basic things working properly. Even straightforward repairs can take months to complete.
Rent here is extremely high for the condition of the units. Management has also been frustrating to deal with: communication is poor, issues tend to be ignored unless they create clear legal liability, and even then the... response is slow. They advertise “under new management,” but in my experience the service and standards are still very low.
There’s also a big gap between what they show and what you actually live with. The main office looks great, and the show unit looks new because it hasn’t been lived in. The remodeled units, however, don’t meet normal remodel expectations, and it didn’t seem like any meaningful quality check was done before move-in.
Also, make sure you see the exact unit you’ll be renting before you sign a lease. Some apartments are right next to the main road and the noise level is extremely high.
Finally, after months of living here, I still don’t have a copy of my lease. Overall, if you run into problems, expect them to take a long time to get resolved. I can’t recommend this place unless you’re prepared to be persistent about maintenance and follow-up.
