Take a drive past the newer buildings before moving in or applying. You’ll see overgrown weeds, bulk garbage in the parking lot on occasion, garbage that is disgusting piled up and not maintained. The apartment itself is okay but it’s a lot of money for vinyl flooring that will warp if there’s another heat wave, no AC whatsoever - it’s so unbearably hot in the summer (you can’t install window units either), the heating is actually very poor quality (it’s not central, it’s turned on by space... heaters located in each room above the window so you’ll actually be freezing in the winter), cabinets and doors that were rushed to be installed so they’re crooked or halfway falling off, oh - and lots of small jumping spiders inside and outside of the apartment (especially on the windows… and they don’t spray for those). There’s no key fob entry, NO amenities, loud construction starting at 6 AM, tons of dust, you can hear every car muffler along the hill or on 18th street, the back street is full of semi truck parking, oh and you’ll probably only hear from the property manager via email because good luck getting through on the phone.
