Charged me twice for rent
In July, the management company made a billing error and charged my rent twice. I was out of town at the time and didn’t notice right away. That unexpected double charge left me thinking I had no more money to spend, which seriously impacted my trip and plans.
When I brought this up, they admitted it was a company-wide issue but said there was nothing they could do. They offered no compensation, no discount, and no real effort to make things right. It’s unfair for tenants to carry the burden of... their mistake.
I’m sharing this in hopes that upper management will finally step in and do the right thing, especially as I’ve also been trying to work with them to break my lease at a shared cost due to parking and safety concerns. I genuinely like the leasing staff, but the way management handles serious issues is unacceptable.
