Bad management
The apartments are cute, no doubt. The tiny back yards are a plus, especially if you have a dog.
The bad- they allow far too many people to live in a one bedroom (all duplex style) unit. The walls are very poor insulated and that makes an unpleasant noise situation for the adjoining unit.
Management is non responsive. They are three weeks late (beyond legally allotted time) to return deposit. They initially miscalculated deposit ( there were no damages or anything in dispute) and sent less... than half due. This week I received another check that is still. It correct. Most of the time calls go to the answering service. I have successfully spoken to them and also visited in person, but they can’t seem to simply get my check cut and mailed. Ironically, they would charge me $10 a day if I were late- but I guess they just get to take their sweet time.
They pass your “share” of all on site utilities on to you- but there is no transparency as to how they calculate. Did I pay the same as the family of five in the 1 bedroom attached to mine? Probably.
Never again.
