BEWARE. I had a maintenance issue with my dishwasher and when i called to have them come out they tried to charge me for a broken garbage disposal. my garbage disposal worked properly. they said they found a "bottle cap" in the drain. $55 for the guy to stick his hand in the sink? NOT TO MENTION THE TWEAKERS IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM.

To start, they had to push back my move in date, 2 weeks at a time, for 6 weeks because they were so behind schedule. Then the bldg owner was going to give me a better move in concession for my inconvenience but never did. Serious plumbing issue after 2 months living there. Plumber had to cut a hole in the wall in the bathroom because instead of replacing the old pipes they decided to do some cosmetic touch ups. Mind you this was fixed only after I called everyday for 3 days because my... bathroom floor was pooling with water, and after a "handyman" tried to tell me it was just from rain the week prior.
Then a month or so later the bathtub started backing up with sewage. That's right... poo. That's an actual health and safety issue, and i only found that out because after 2 weeks of the management company not taking it seriously I called the Housing Dept to find out what my options were and they explained that landlords/mgmt companies have 3 days to fix Health and Safety issues. Interestingly enough as soon as I mentioned this to the Mgmt company they started getting to work on it. And it still took over a week to get in finalized because the owner would only use one plumber who had limited availability.
The upgrades and remodel looks really nice, but the walls are thin. Like I could hear my upstairs neighbors detailed conversations, and not to mention what I heard from my next door neighbors with whom I shared bedroom walls. The gates have codes for security that never once worked. The back gate was constantly left open and the back gate was most often broken so daily we had the homeless people who needed to get to the alley where the parking is would just walk back and forth in front of our apartments. (I worked from home so saw/ran into them daily). The rent is on the lower end for this area, but with zero amenities, zero security, and one washer/dryer that often breaks... it's worth it to pay a little more for a better overall everything.
