Mirador

My sister lived in these apartments for a couple years. They are OK, they are dated, a gated community where the gate is usually open, terrible cell reception, along a busy road, and a horrible stink of sewer gas came from the kitchen sinks (pipes had no trap on them). They raised the rent about 10-15% every year she was there and with the housing market in Phoenix they know they can get away with it. They do have a nice pool area and overall it's a nice looking community.
Anyhow, my sister… passed away this spring and we had to deal with the office to close things out for her. The people were very friendly and helpful. My problem with this complex/company is that my sister paid $60-70/mo ($30-35 per cat) nearly the entire time she lived there, over $1600 just in pet fees. When they gave us a breakdown of what was withheld from her security deposit, it included a fee for pet cleaning ($135? I think) and charged us 10% the cost of replacing the crappy carpet that I'm almost certain was not new when she moved in. Yes, her cat damaged it but what is the point of charging a pet fee when they're just going to stick it to you in the end anyway. Just a rip off if you ask me. Read More

Mirador Apartment Homes was the most delightful place to live. The Management Team from top to bottom went the extra distance to make sure that all of my needs were met in a courteous, professional and exemplary fashion. Not only is the community very well kept, but it is nestled in the mountain preserve and amidst the Point Tapatio Hilton Golf Course. I lived here for 2 years and all i can say is it was horrible. They allow dogs to use the bathroom everywhere and when you walk your door you can step in it. When your appliances break they replace them with more used up appliances. My dryer broke it took 6 months for them to replace with a worse dryer. The gate is always broke, their security is worthless because several cars were broken into. People get drunk and speed through the parking lot and parking is horrible. People park in your… parking space including the maintenance workers. When I moved out i hired a professional cleaning service only to have the apartment manager Carmen call and threaten me that if I did not pay 700 dollars they would ruin and destroy my credit. You will never get your security deposit back they are petty and rude. I called to report them to their management company and they are no help. Now in the process of filing claim with the States Attorney's office because of deceptive practices. We took pictures and I have had the cleaning service fill out an affidavit showing they cleaned, the date and time with pictures.
