Palisade Park Aparments

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would.

First, it was absolutely filthy when we moved in.. mold, dust, paint layered over years of issues. Their maintenance does the bare minimum, people are hired at the office in and out so no one ever knows what’s going on (management must really suck, huh..), and all in all, just a really terrible place to live. Our fan broke two days after moving in, they didn’t provide heat in the winter months, we had a weird brown water dripping from our vent that… stained the walls/floors/closet that they just spray painted over and told us to deal with after maintenance “looked at it and couldn’t figure it out” and would constantly be turning off the water for 10 hours at a time for maintenance every other month. You might be wondering how they have good reviews despite all of it and I have a great screen shot of text message alerts they’d send out once a month— if you leave a good review, you’ll be entered to win a 50 in TV (that they never announced winners for).

The photos on their website and apartment sites deceiving. They do below the bare minimum. I can’t imagine how dirty everything behind the scenes are (vents, filters, etc.) are if they leave everything else that’s put in the open this disgusting.

No one uses the pool because it’s dirty 9 times out of 10 and their little kid park and “yard” area had dog poop and garbage at all times. I tried to go to the office multiple times to talk about ending the lease early (I did), but it was nearly impossible because they don’t ever answer phone calls, emails and they’re never in the actual office. It’s either closed or they’re “busy”.

I’ve had my fair share of renting and I know it can’t be perfect, but Palisade Park Apartments really was the WORST place to live and work with through management. Read More
