    Misleading

    Residences of McDowell is nothing like the photos they advertise. This place lacks basic security, and the area feels unsafe. There have been multiple incidents, including police stand-offs and shootings, which make it clear that safety is a serious issue here.

    The amenities are poorly maintained, and there are frequent problems with cable. The grounds are not kept clean, with dog and cat droppings everywhere, trash from homeless encampments nearby, and constant loud noise. Hallways often smell    … like urine, adding to the overall poor living conditions.

    If you're thinking about moving in, be warned—it’s far from what’s advertised, and management doesn’t seem to be addressing any of these serious issues.
