How Is This Rating Determined?

3/6/23

No. Don’t.

I lived here for 3.5 years, leaving just this past week. The apartments are great, but the owners and management are a joke. In three years, we had three management companies. Each was useless. The current place is impossible to get in touch with, once you’re a resident.

If you do decide to live here, DO NOT agree to unit 6. The floor seeps up water when it rains, which is quite a bit during the summer and winter. The humidity inside skyrockets. When I moved in, they didn’t tell me about the...
leak. In over three years, they never fixed it, no matter how many times I asked. I also asked that they adjust my rent by just a little to compensate for the increased electric bill from having to run the AC more often to mitigate the humidity. No, but they did increase my rent! Thanks, Ritz Towers!

The residents here are great. The location is amazing. They keep increasing rent by leaps and bounds ($200 this most recent time), and don’t let you know ahead of time so that you can make an informed decision ahead of the 60-days’ notice deadline, and then there is not one thing to show for the increased rent. Things still don’t work, still don’t get fixed, still leak water up through the floor.

Make demands of them before you agree to any unit, but especially 6. Once you’re in, they will never help you again.

Ritz Towers

located in the heart of phonix, I live in a studio apartment with my fiancé. Inside is all white brick with brand new appliances. This studio is a little different for me just because it has the original murphy's bed that the building was built with. The bed fold in and out of the wall, So I'm able to have a actual living room when guest want to come over. The bathroom is petite but delightfully charming with clean white tiles surrounding the shower, the closet space we have is medium sized... which makes it perfect for two people to fit most of there essential clothes inside. I have a medium outdoor patio which is a perfect back yard if you have a small pet. At night both weekdays and weeknights is so quite you wouldn't even know that the building is fully occupied, not to mention you can see the Phoenix sky scrapers lit up from your window. This place is awesome never have been a fan of studios but this one really changed my mind on that!
