It’s alright.

Office staff has been nothing but helpful. Maintenance is usually fairly quick to respond.

However, our unit had a lot of issues when it came to electrical and it took months for APS to stop being jerks about it. The management initially pushed it onto us but weren’t aware of the extent of the problems. Our power would overload and shut off randomly and it was a bad meter that APS wouldn’t touch for some reason.

There are issues with insulation in these units. Windows are thin and not heat… resistant. There was a huge gap under the door that I had to cover with a strip myself. The AC Does not cool the loft whatsoever. They consider that the master but I’d choke someone from it being so uncomfortable if I put my bed up there.

The tub and shower have really worn out acrylic that makes it near impossible to clean. There are broken tiles. The washer and dryer are subpar quality.

The amenities have yet to be used by us. A majority of the time spent here there were renovations that were delayed due to the pandemic. They look amazing but I think the money would’ve been better spent in the units. I have no complaints about those.

Again, the staff was incredibly helpful but the apartment itself is a bit lackluster especially with our rent increasing. There’s no doubt in my mind they will know exactly who I am when they see this, but it is what it is.

Great location in Tempe

Rio Paradiso Apartments is a nice complex with a great Tempe location. The units offer nice floor plans with adequate storage and good overall space at a great value/price point. The community is gated and offers underground garage parking. The amenities are adequate and are being renovated and re-landscaped. Overall, it is a nice place to live and the common areas are being worked on to make them more update-to-date.

DO NOT MOVE HERE

Office staff is rude, their turnover rate is also pretty insane. There have been so many new people in the office in the 4 months of living here. Property is absolutely disgusting. There is dried vomit found everywhere. There are little bags filled with white residue (drugs) in them around the parking lot. It’s advertised as a luxury apartment complex yet there’s nothing luxury about it. Have had to complain about upstairs neighbors due to screaming (domestic violence), loud music, and slamming… things. Outdated appliances, dirty blinds, broken toilet, bug problems, and overall feeling of discomfort is a good way to describe what it’s like living here. There’s a lot that needs to be done about this property.

Paradise in the Desert!

This is the best apartment community I’ve ever lived in. Eric, the Community Director, is at the top of his game, and this makes living here, like a true paradise. From move in to move out, everything was a breeze. They even provided us with tips to clean and get our deposit back. They aren’t money hungry apartments like most places out there, and really stand out from other apartments. If we ever find ourselves needing a place to live in Tempe, there’s no doubt where we’ll be going! Thank you… for taking such great care of us, and helping us feel at home.
