Canonsburg Commons

I do not have many complaints about the property itself. At this price point nothing can be perfect. Other than the whole building smelling like cigarettes and not enough hot water half the time. The major problem is the Landlords Right to enter agreement in the lease. This allows
the landlord to enter your apartment whenever they choose. I did not think this would of been a big deal as I thought it could potentially be a good thing because they would be able to do more maintenance in the unit... I rent. They used this to take bring someone in to take "professional" pictures of the apartment I rent with all my belongings in it. Because of this being in the lease I had no discretion to whether or not this happened. The way I see this is basically them being cheap because they do not want to pay to furnish the apartment temporarily for professional pictures when
the tenant moves out and I feel like it was abusing the power of what was put in the lease. I have nothing to hide but when your paying for an apartment you shouldn't have to worry about all the people they bring into the place you reside let alone take pictures of all your belongings you paid for
to capitalize off of it. I would say if you dont like being taken advantage of dont rent here. Lee mas

If you want to hear every word of your neighbor’s conversation and smell everything they’re cooking or smoking (cigarettes and marijuana) then this is the place for you!

I have lived here for 5 months now and it has been a great experience. For the most part it is pretty quiet, occasional noise as to be expected. The floors have been recently updated with laminate which makes it easy to clean. There are sidewalks everywhere making it easy to access restaurants and shops in downtown Canonsburg. Town Park is close by which is great in the summertime for swimming at the pool. This apartment building is definitely a hidden gem!
