Camden Riverwalk Apartamentos

I moved in 11/20/2021 for an 18-month lease and a day into the lease, I wanted a new unit. I can't fully unpack as I've been cleaning dog hair, which I relayed I was allergic to prior to moving in, since I've moved in. Since Texas binds lessee's once contracts are signed, it doesn't matter that the make ready teams obviously failed at their job and I reaping the appalling benefits.

Prior to moving in, I was told there was new carpet. Great! After moving in, I found out the carpet is placed... before the apartment is cleaned. Where in the world does that make sense? "Let's replace the carpet because there's dog hair everywhere, but we're just going to place the new carpet atop the dog hair because that's how it's always been."

There is dog hair painted into the walls, into the floor of the garage, in the freezer, in the dishwasher, in the shower, etc. I can't/won't use the pantry until Maintenance replaces the floorboards that have hair so stuck in the corners, I can't remove it.

I should add the office offered another unit, should I want to move AGAIN and for the cleaning staff to come re-clean the apartment when I opted out. The unit was ~$250 more a month, but only about 50 square feet larger. Who would want to pay that?? The cleaning team didn't just leave dog hair everywhere, there are some areas that weren't cleaned at all. Why would I want them to "re-clean" my apartment??

The washer and dryer were in such a state, that I requested a new dryer. Jury's still out on whether the washer is actually useable after I cleaned it. I had to go to the office to be told two things: 1) one person thought it had been taken care of and 2) another person relayed a dryer had been ordered. Could no one return my call to tell me that??

Aside from dog hair, there are gouges in the cheap tile flooring from where they moved their appliances. There's a huge chemical stain on the stainless steel fridge and two of the three faucets are showing clear signs of breakdown. There are many other issues like these.

The even greater thing about all of this is the lease states I'll have to pay the cleaning fee upon move out...

I've lived here since March 2020, when COVID struck, and my life changed... Throughout the pandemic, Camden staff has shown only care and concern for its residents, especially evident in last month's icemaggedon - some residents lost power and water, and were treated to food trucks and were welcome to use the gym and the club house.
I wish I could stay at Camden - the pool alone is worth it! The pool is gorgeous, the walking trail is beautiful, my apartment has a garage and a washer dryer... included, and maintenance (the rare times i needed them) are spot on!
The are several beautiful parks in the area, I don't have school age kids so I don't know anything about the schools but there is plenty of shopping and restaurants of all varieties, and many grocery stores close by. Lee mas

We've been living here for about 2 months now and we absolutely love it here. Great community and the staff is awesome!!! My daughter loves the pool.

Spacious well appointed 1, 2, and 3 bedroom apartments near lakes and wooded walking trails. Centrally located within minutes of DFW airport. Apartment amenities include tile entries, crown molding, updated kitchens with side by side refrigerators, granite counter tops, microwaves, washer/dryers, ceiling fans. Two community pools, two fitness centers, media room, game room and business center. Pet friendly, gated with security. Some apartments include garages, carports available although parking... spaces are somewhat limited. Friendly staff, resident activities provided monthly along with access to property clubhouse for private parties. Lee mas

Camden Riverwalk Apartments are nice. The grounds are kept nicely, and the pools are very well taken care of. That said, If you prefer quiet, this is not the apartment complex for you. We are 7 minutes to the DFW airport, constant plane noise overhead, traffic noise from 2499, air conditioners constantly running, and endless construction on the roads surrounding the complex, and now, they are building a new gas station right across from the entrance to the apartment complex. Oh, and behind the... apartments is a warehouse with constant sounds of trucks being backed up to the bays, all of which all makes it impossible to relax on the balcony or by the pool. We will be moving out in January due to all the noise and biggering. lol If noise doesn't bother you, it is in a good location, but getting a little too crowed for our liking. Lee mas
