This apartment is amazing. Management and staff is amazing as well. Don has been more than helpful and exceeded all my expectations and truly cares. Target, sephora, total wine, and kroger are all next to the apartments too. big fan of this place

I like living here, the location is extremely convenient and the floor plans are spacious. That being said, there are a few vices. This location is not immune to the typical houston thing that happen in apartments, such as bugs, theft in the parking garage, and obnoxious people. I have a feeling they are about to raise prices due to a few “upgrades” they’ve made, such as replacing the garage door with one that is no more useful than the previous and still allows people to tailgate in and steal... the tires off of peoples cars, or adding a few pieces of marble laminated plywood to the elevators and calling them “luxury”. Nonetheless, this is an alright place to live if you like convenience.

I love how pet friendly this community is! Everytime I go out to walk my dog Rocket, the other residents (my neighbors ??) live on him like he’s family. I just moved in and this really makes me feel welcomed. All of the staff here have been very attentive and helpful. I haven’t rented in many years and a lot has changed, but they helped me navigate the new way with grace. This property is beautiful and very secure and safe. I am SO happy to be here!

It's been a fairly good experience living at SHL. The staff is very friendly and most of the building is kept pretty clean. However, there are a few exceptions. The same elevator in the parking garage is almost always out of service; the stairwells smell like urine; the hallways always smell of marijuana, despite many complaints; and the appliances in the apartments are very old and outdated. My dishwasher and washing machines are so loud, you can't hear yourself think, and if you're watching... TV, you have to turn the volume way up. The sliding glass door is hard to open and close (again very old) and the handle is a thin piece of metal that is hard to grip.
