It's been a fairly good experience living at SHL. The staff is very friendly and most of the building is kept pretty clean. However, there are a few exceptions. The same elevator in the parking garage is almost always out of service; the stairwells smell like urine; the hallways always smell of marijuana, despite many complaints; and the appliances in the apartments are very old and outdated. My dishwasher and washing machines are so loud, you can't hear yourself think, and if you're watching... TV, you have to turn the volume way up. The sliding glass door is hard to open and close (again very old) and the handle is a thin piece of metal that is hard to grip.

In the one month since move-in, our experience here has been great - we've enjoyed the amenities, maintenance requests are completed quickly, the leasing office is friendly and helpful, package delivery is convenient and secure, and the apartment floor plans are nice. Conveniently located near a bunch of shops, gyms, amenities.
