I was told a lie by the previous Associate Manager Named Katie. She told me that EVERY Building had its own water meter and the bill would be divided on the size of the Apartment and how many occupancies lived in my unit. After receiving very high water & sewer bills I contacted the city of Gainesville and to my surprise there is only one meter coming in to the whole complex for 200 Apartments. I was shocked to find this out. I spoke with several other residents and the Assistant manager told... them the same thing. I lived in a private 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house before moving here and I never had to pay the City of Gainesville water department this high amount. I would never moved here if I had of known about the water & Sewer.

The apartments are nice and renovated, but there are several issues. The valet trash either doesn’t come or comes at the wrong time so you get skipped, the compactor is always overflowing because the neighborhood behind the complex uses it, the gate is always broken, and maintenance is very slow. They allow cigarette smoking inside, so be prepared if your apartment starts smelling like cigarettes. They are limited to what they can do since it’s not against the lease. People also drive incredibly... fast through the complex even with the speed bumps. There are stop signs and curves throughout and people just fly down the middle of the road daily. I have had several close calls, and one time someone actually hit me. The pool is constantly closed, because the people here break glass bottles in it, the gym is consistently disgusting and reeks of mildew, and the gas grills are never usable due to charcoal being left in them. It’s a decent place, but not worth the price with the way things are.

This is not a bad place to live, it's fairly quiet and everyone is for the most part amicable but the price of rent slowly creeps up every time I renew. Also I don't mind paying for actual utilities and such but all these reward programs such as Bilt and the conserve fee which in my opinion is useless really nickel and dime you to death. I think I spend like 20-30 dollars extra every month to earn points that end up giving me $15 per year in credit at the end of the year. I would rather pay my... rent in cash and not get these so-called "rewards". Other than that I really enjoy living here.
